Ryzoid is operated by Ginger Man Music ("Ryzoid", "we", "us", "our"), registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 24480990, address Soetendaalseweg 62-B02, 3036ES Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Website: gingerman.music.
Ryzoid runs a set of curated music channels made up of music videos submitted by artists. Artists create an account, submit a release for a channel, and — if a submission is accepted — the video is added to that channel's rotation.
You need an account to submit music. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information about yourself and your artist profile.
Spending a credit pays for your submission to be reviewed — it does not guarantee that the submission will be accepted, and it does not give you a right to have it accepted. Ryzoid reviews every submission against its own editorial and quality criteria and may reject a submission at its discretion (for example: audio/video quality, content that doesn't fit a channel's format, or content that violates these terms).
Because a credit pays for the review itself and not for a guaranteed outcome, we generally do not refund credits for submissions that are reviewed and rejected. We may, at our discretion, refund a credit in specific cases we consider reasonable (for example a technical fault on our side).
If you are a consumer (buying credits outside of a trade, business, craft, or profession), you have a statutory right of withdrawal under EU/Dutch distance-selling law: you can cancel your credit purchase within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason, for any credits from that purchase that are still unspent at the time you cancel. Since credits don't expire, you're never forced to spend one before the 14 days are up just to avoid losing that right — cancelling and submitting later are always both available to you until you actually choose to submit.
If you've already spent one or more credits from that purchase (i.e. asked us to start reviewing a submission, or used a credit on another feature) within the 14 days, cancelling still gets you a refund for the unspent credits in that purchase, but not for the ones you've already used — spending a credit is you requesting that we start the service right away, and by the time you cancel we've already provided it.
Submissions and channels reference videos hosted on YouTube, and Ryzoid plays them using YouTube's own embedded player. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or removal of videos on YouTube, and your use of YouTube is subject to YouTube's own terms and privacy policy. If a video is taken down, made private, or removed by its owner or by YouTube, it may disappear from Ryzoid's rotation without notice.
Artist profiles may include links and content you add yourself (for example a website, social media, or streaming links). You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of anything you add to your profile. Ryzoid is not responsible for the content of external sites or services you link to from your profile.
Don't submit content you don't have the rights to distribute, content that's illegal, or content that infringes someone else's rights. We can remove content, reject submissions, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Ryzoid is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, for content hosted by third parties (like YouTube), or for content on external sites linked from artist profiles. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law.
We may update these terms from time to time, for example as new features launch. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use Ryzoid after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Rotterdam, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that give you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
