1. Who we are

Ryzoid is operated by Ginger Man Music, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 24480990, address Soetendaalseweg 62-B02, 3036ES Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Ginger Man Music is the data controller for the personal data described below.

2. What we collect

• Account & profile data: your email address and login details, and anything you add to your artist profile (name, avatar, bio, links).
• Submission data: the releases and videos you submit, and their review status.
• Credit & payment data: your credit balance and transaction history. Card and payment details are handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor — we don't see or store your full card details.
• Usage/analytics data: we use Matomo analytics, configured with privacy-friendly settings, to understand how Ryzoid is used. This does not use cross-site tracking cookies.

3. Why we process your data

• To provide the Ryzoid service: creating your account, reviewing submissions, running your artist profile, and processing credit purchases (performance of our contract with you).
• To keep the platform secure and working properly, and to understand usage so we can improve it (our legitimate interest).
• To meet legal and accounting obligations, for example keeping records of payments (legal obligation).

4. Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers to run Ryzoid:

• Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and backend functions.
• Stripe — processes credit purchases.
• Matomo — website analytics, run with privacy settings enabled.
• YouTube — submitted videos are hosted on YouTube and played back through YouTube's embedded player; playing a video means you're also interacting with Google/YouTube directly. See our Cookie Statement and YouTube's own privacy policy.

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards required by law (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses). (To confirm precisely which providers/regions apply — see the note at the top of this page.)

We don't sell your personal data.

5. How long we keep data

We keep account and submission data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterwards for legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes. Payment records are kept as long as required by Dutch tax/accounting law.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can ask us to:

• give you access to the personal data we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate data;
• erase your data, where the law allows it;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• give you a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via gingerman.music. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
